QR Codes

We are using QR codes as a learning tool at school.  Some of these codes would be beneficial for you to use at home with your children.  I am planning to begin making codes that address specific skills that individual children need to work on.  If you have a smart phone or other device (iPad, iPod, etc.) that has a camera please let me know by responding to this post so I can begin sending some home with your child.  You will need to go to your app store and download a free QR code scanner if you wish to utilize these codes at home.  There are many different free QR scanners in the app store.  Type in "QR Scanner" and choose on that is free.  You will then be ready to scan when the code comes home!  :)

Thanks,
Mrs. Wilson

Crazy Hair Day

Tomorrow (Tuesday) is crazy hair day at school. The children may have their hair painted by the PE coaches for $1.00 per color. Please send your written permission and your money if you would like your child to have their hair sprayed.

You may print and sign the following sentence if you'd like:

My child_________________ has my permission to have their hair sprayed at school.
Thank you,

Fix It Duck Video Project

This was our first video project this year!  We will try to do several throughout the year so you can see your little ones at work!  We read the book "Fix It Duck" then wrote about someone we like to help and what we do to help.  Then we made a video of ourselves reading our work and showing our beautiful pictures!  I hope you enjoy!

If you haven't already left for school let your children wear their orange kindergarten shirts. I forgot to remind everyone yesterday. If not, it's no big deal. We will wear them together another day! I'm sorry for the horribly late notice! Mrs. Wilson
